We are looking for a dynamic and committed Social Care Prisons Support Worker to join our team in Stafford, UK. In this role, you will be part of an exceptional social care team offering support within a secure environment. With two shifts per week, each lasting 11.5 hours from 7:30 am until 8 pm, you can look forward to a rewarding career providing essential support to individuals in need. What you will do:

  • Contribute to and support the delivery of social care within a secure environment.
  • Implement clinical social care packages tailored to individual needs.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, ensuring to respect their dignity and privacy.
  • Deliver healthcare work under the supervision of a qualified nurse, while efficiently organising your own workload.
  • Apply your understanding of patients’ individual needs in accordance with carefully designed care plans.

Qualifications required:

  • NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care.
  • A non-judgmental and compassionate approach to delivering care.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
  • Good IT skills and IT literacy to manage records and documentation.
  • Ability to work in a busy environment and independently follow policies and procedures.
  • Experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment is beneficial.
