<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>

Undertake Child and Family Assessments in line with statutory requirements</li><li>
Develop and implement Child in Need plans in partnership with families and agencies</li><li>
Provide Early Help support through effective multi-agency collaboration</li><li>
Complete Section 7 reports for private family court proceedings</li><li>
Undertake Section 47 child protection enquiries and prepare families for Initial Child Protection Conferences</li><li>
Initiate Initial Care Proceedings where necessary to safeguard children</li><li>
Work in partnership with Housing services to assess and support homeless young people</li><li>
Build positive, trusting relationships with children and families using the Blackpool Families Rock approach</li><li>
Apply a strengths-based approach when working with families to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes</li><li>
Maintain clear, objective, and timely case records in line with local authority requirements</li></ul>

<h3>Essential Criteria</h3>
<ul>

Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work</li><li>
Registration with Social Work England</li><li>
Recent experience within a statutory children’s social work setting</li><li>
Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills</li><li>
Ability to work effectively with families, partner agencies, and multidisciplinary teams</li></ul>
