Location: Manchester
Service: Small 20+ bedded Residential Care Home (Dementia)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Hours: Full‑time
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Care Home Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up to lead a small, well‑established 22‑bedded residential service in Manchester. The home has been stable for many years, with the previous Manager in post long‑term and now resigning, creating a rare opportunity for a new leader to take over a well‑run service.
About the Role
As the Home Manager, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the service, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance and resident wellbeing. You will lead, support and develop the staff team while maintaining a warm, person‑centred environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the residential care home
Ensure compliance with CQC standards and internal policies
Lead, motivate and support the care team
Maintain excellent relationships with residents, families and external professionals
Manage staffing, rotas, training and performance
Promote a safe, caring and positive culture within the home
Drive continuous improvement and high‑quality care delivery
Requirements
MUST have experience as a Residential Care Home Deputy Manager or Home Manager
Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience within dementia residential care
Passionate about delivering exceptional care
NVQ Level 5 not required - full support provided to achieve the qualification
