What you will do:
- Carry out specialist mental health assessments, care planning, and evidence-based interventions for children and young people with ADHD and other mental health conditions.
- Support the CAMHS ADHD pathway, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Help reduce waiting times by facilitating timely access to ADHD medication and ongoing treatment following diagnosis.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case reviews, supervision, and training to support service development and continuous improvement.
- Liaise effectively with families, schools, GPs, and partner agencies to provide coordinated, person-centred care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, or other recognised Allied Health Professional with current professional registration (NMC, HCPC, or Social Work England as appropriate).
- Significant experience working within CAMHS.
- Experience supporting children and young people with ADHD and other mental health conditions.
- Excellent assessment, risk management, communication, and multidisciplinary working skills.
- Knowledge of current CAMHS legislation, safeguarding procedures, and evidence-based practice.
