Starting Salary: £27,000 - £30,000

Location: Hull

Hours: 36 hours per week over 4 days 9 - 5

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Deputy Manager to join the team within a 36 bedded Nursing and Residential Care Home in Hull.

The successful candidate will be motivated with strong experience in a Care Home setting. You will be passionate about care, with a genuine drive to support the Home Manager in the day to day running of the home and you will also have the support of a clinical lead nurse. You will be keen to develop your leadership skills and be capable of building close relationships with residents and their families and a passion to drive continuous improvement.

We are inviting applications from candidates with senior level experience in residential care or nursing home settings who are fully conversant with the legislation and regulations.

This is a full time permanent post 36 hours per week worked over 4 days 9 – 5 with alternate weekends and offers a competitive salary of £27,000 - £30,000 per annum.

Responsibilities

To ensure outstanding levels of care are always provided to residents,

To deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence,

To provide supervision, support, and training to care staff,

Care planning, risk assessments and assisting with audits,

What we are looking for

An enthusiastic and flexible approach to work

Medication administration training

The ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Minimum of QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

In depth knowledge of regulatory requirements
