We are looking for a confident, compassionate & committed Social Work Administrator.

The social work administrator plays a central role in supporting safeguarding and case management processes by ensuring accurate record-keeping, maintaining oversight of cases from referral through to closure and facilitating effective communication across teams and partner agencies.

The role supports coordinated working by acting as a point of contact for professionals, stakeholder's and service users while helping to ensure that information is shared appropriately and relationships are maintained. The administrator also contributes to person-cantered practice by supporting engagement with individuals and reflecting their views and supporting with their social circumstances.

Your day-to-day...

• Work in partnership with service users, families & other stakeholders

• Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and Local Authorities

• Taking the lead on making safeguarding referrals

• Keeping up to date and accurate records

• Accurate minute taking for safeguarding/social work meetings

• Contribute to the provision of high-quality care for patients

• Forge links & maintain contact with other statutory agencies

• Support social care needs of patients

• Ensure that patients & their families/carers are aware of safeguarding processes

• Ensure safeguarding in multidisciplinary teams & provide reports for MDTs & others



You are...

• Experienced in working within a mental health setting, or passionate about this field

• Knowledgeable of safeguarding, H&S, data protection, confidentiality, equality & diversity

• An excellent communicator with exceptional interpersonal, IT & telephone skills

• Aware of the Mental Health Act

• Skilled in report writing with excellent literacy skills & attention to detail

• Knowledge of Datix and Excel desirable
