This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our dynamic Duty and Assessment Team within Children's Social Care in Bradford. What you will do:

• Undertake Child and Family Assessments in response to referrals, identifying risk, need, and protective factors.
• Respond to safeguarding concerns, including Section 47 enquiries, ensuring immediate action where children are at risk of harm.
• Manage a complex caseload, developing and reviewing child protection and children in need plans.
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to deliver coordinated safeguarding interventions.
• Prepare high-quality reports for conferences, reviews, and court proceedings, and provide evidence where required.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

• Degree or Masters in Social Work (or equivalent).
• Evidence of continued professional development.

Registration & Compliance:

• Registered with Social Work England.
• Sound knowledge of the Children Act 1989/2004, Working Together to Safeguard Children, and relevant statutory guidance.
• Enhanced DBS clearance required for this role to ensure the safety and welfare of children.
