What you will do:

Manage a caseload of looked-after children, delivering statutory social work interventions in line with the Children Act 1989 and associated guidance.
Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop, implement, and review Care Plans to achieve permanence and stability.
Prepare high-quality reports for statutory reviews, child protection conferences, and court proceedings, providing evidence where required.
Promote the welfare, health, education, and emotional well-being of children in care through direct work and planned interventions.

Person Specification

Qualifications:

Degree or postgraduate qualification in Social Work (BA/MA Social Work or equivalent).
Evidence of continuous professional development.

Registration & Compliance:

Registered with Social Work England.
Enhanced DBS clearance.
Sound knowledge of the Children Act 1989/2004, Children and Social Work Act 2017, and the “Working Together to Safeguard Children” guidance.
