We are looking for a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join a supportive team in Newcastle upon Tyne. If you have a Health and Social Care Level 3 qualification and experience supervising a team, this could be the perfect opportunity to grow your career while making a real difference to residents' lives.

What the role involves:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll combine hands-on care with team leadership responsibilities, ensuring residents receive exceptional care while supporting and mentoring your colleagues. Key duties include:
  • Supervising and supporting your team to ensure confidence, competence, and high standards in all aspects of care.
  • Assisting residents with personal care, promoting dignity, respect, and independence at all times.
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
  • Administering medication safely and accurately, with thorough record-keeping.
  • Contributing to a positive, safe, and nurturing environment on the night shift.
This role is perfect for someone organised, caring, and ready to take on leadership responsibilities while delivering outstanding care to residents.

Salary range

  • £14 - £15 per hour
