About the service: Vincent Court is a five-bed community rehabilitation (level 1) service for deaf men who have been able to progress through the hospital pathway at Cygnet Bury Dunes (Bridgehampton Ward). We also accept referrals from other high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) services, other Low Secure services as well as directly from the community. Job type: Full-Time Shifts: 36 hours per week. 10pm - 7am, weekend work is included Pay rate: £12.60 per hour Southport Services covers residential support for people across three homes, located in York Road, Arbour Street &amp; Dinorwic Road. York Road is located in the village of Birkdale in Southport, Merseyside. It offers residential support for five males and females who have a learning disability or are on the autism spectrum. Our team are dedicated to providing the people we care for with the skills needed to live a healthier and happier life back in the community. We can also support those who have mental health needs, difficulties with communication, and mild to moderate behaviour that may challenge Dinorwic Road is located in the village of Birkdale in Southport, Merseyside. It offers residential support for three people with a primary learning disability diagnosis, who may also have mental health needs. We are located on a quiet road, surrounded by beautiful countryside. We aim to provide a safe and homely environment, where everyone we care for can make their own choices about the care and support they receive. We want to help provide residents with the skills they need to live a healthier and happier life back in the community. Arbour Street is a semi-detached Victorian house, located on a quiet road, very close to Southport city centre. It offers residential support for three adults with a learning disability, who may also be on the autism spectrum. Our team are dedicated to helping people to develop the skills necessary for a future where they can live as independently as possible. It would be ideal if you have previous experience gained in a similar role. However whilst this is valuable, we are looking for individuals who display the right values and behaviours in order to make a difference to people's lives. As a Support Worker, you will assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents. You will provide support with day to day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living.
