What you will do:

Undertake Section 42 safeguarding enquiries in accordance with the Care Act 2014, ensuring timely and proportionate responses to risks.
Complete comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, and support planning to promote safety and independence.
Lead safeguarding investigations, including strategy discussions, case conferences, and multi-agency meetings.
Work collaboratively with health, housing, police, and voluntary sector partners to deliver coordinated interventions.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant case records in line with council policy and regulatory standards.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent)

Registration & Compliance:

Registered with Social Work England
Sound knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Equality Act 2010
Understanding of safeguarding adults policies, procedures, and Making Safeguarding Personal principles
