What you will do

Case Management: Manage a complex caseload of children and young people with disabilities, ensuring all work is completed within statutory timescales.
Statutory Intervention: Undertake Child in Need, Child Protection, Looked After Children, and care proceedings work where required.
Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments in accordance with the Children Act 1989 and relevant legislation.
Care Planning: Develop, implement, and review child-centred plans that promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.
Family Support: Work collaboratively with families to build on strengths, reduce risks, and provide effective support.
Safeguarding: Lead safeguarding enquiries, strategy discussions, and child protection interventions to ensure children remain safe.
Multi-Agency Working: Coordinate support with education, health professionals, and partner agencies to deliver holistic care.
