What you will do
- Manage a complex caseload of children and families requiring statutory intervention, conducting thorough assessments and creating detailed support plans.
- Lead comprehensive assessments of need, risk, and protective factors in line with the Children Act 1989 and Safeguarding Children guidance.
- Develop and implement outcome-focused plans aimed at building family resilience, achieving permanence, and ensuring positive outcomes for children.
- Provide expert practice guidance, mentoring, and support to both social workers and newly qualified practitioners.
- Chair and actively contribute to multi-agency meetings, strategy discussions, and professional forums to ensure coordinated service delivery.
