What you will do:
- Provide regular supervision, guidance, and support to foster carers, promoting high-quality care for children and young people.
- Undertake fostering assessments, annual reviews, and statutory visits in accordance with fostering regulations and national standards.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children in care.
- Deliver training, advice, and ongoing support to foster carers, strengthening their skills and confidence.
- Manage a diverse caseload while maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential records in line with statutory requirements.
- Advocate for the welfare, safety, and development of looked after children, ensuring their voices remain central to care planning.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Experience working within fostering services or children's social care.
- Strong knowledge of fostering legislation, safeguarding procedures, and statutory guidance.
- Excellent assessment, report writing, and case management skills.
- Strong communication, organisational, and partnership-working abilities.
