We are looking for an experienced Team Manager to lead a frontline children's social work team across assessment, Child in Need, Child Protection, pre-proceedings, and care proceedings. What you will do:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the children’s social work team, ensuring high-quality practice and performance.
- Oversee assessments, CP plans, CIN work, PLO activities, and court proceedings.
- Provide regular supervision, challenge, and support for social workers, maintaining visibility and availability to your team.
- Address performance issues directly, supporting staff in managing challenging conversations.
- Collaborate closely with senior managers and partner agencies, promoting good recording and timely visits.
- Ensure children remain at the heart of all decision making, balancing support with accountability.
- Make confident decisions and escalate issues when necessary, ensuring risks are addressed and work is progressed within timescales.
