The Public Health Commissioning team, provide specialist advice and support to a range of initiatives across the public health department, that deliver against strategic objectives and improve population health outcomes for the residents of Derbyshire. You will also be able to demonstrate how your work can be informed by engagement, consultation and co-production with key stakeholders and local residents. You will be confident in developing reports and other written material including analysis of performance, activity and budgetary data and recommend future actions, where appropriate for a range of purposes, including Cabinet, Senior Management Teams, and Improvement and Scrutiny committees. You will work as part of our commissioning team on a range of public health commissioned services and transformational projects as well as with Public Health Leads across the department. The Service Managers line manage Commissioning Officers who work across the team to provide additional project management and coordination support to key areas of work.
