What you will do
- Case Management: Manage a complex caseload within the Fostering Kinship Team.
- Assessments: Complete Connected Persons Assessments, Kinship Foster Care Assessments, and Special Guardianship Assessments.
- Viability Assessments: Undertake viability assessments for family and friends carers.
- Carer Support: Provide supervision, guidance, and ongoing support to approved kinship foster carers and Special Guardians.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure carers continue to meet fostering standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support Planning: Develop and review support plans that promote stability and positive outcomes for children.
- Fostering Panels: Prepare high-quality reports and contribute to fostering panel processes.
- Care Planning: Work closely with children's social workers to support effective care planning and permanence.
- Permanency Planning: Promote kinship arrangements as a positive permanence option where appropriate.
- Reviews and Visits: Complete statutory visits, annual reviews, and support plan reviews.
