Watton, Watton Engla IP25 6HA, United Kingdom The Priory Kalmia &amp; Mallow are looking to recruit a Support Worker to join their team at their site based in Watton, Thetford.<ul><li>Full Time, Permanent contract </li><li>Hourly Pay: £13.20 p/hour</li><li>36-48hrs p/week (Spread across 12-hour shifts from 08:00 - 20:00) </li><li>Shift Rota: You will be rotating between working X3 shifts in week 1 and X4 shifts in week 2. When working a X4 shift week, you will always have 2 of these on a Saturday &amp; Sunday as alternating weekends are required.</li></ul>Kalmia and Mallow is located in the town of Watton, Norfolk. It offers residential support for 13 people who are on the autism spectrum or have a learning disability, who may also have complex needs. We are located off the main road into Watton. Our team are dedicated to providing the people we care for with opportunities to enjoy a wide range of social and recreational activities. We want to encourage our residents to live as independently as possible so they can achieve the best possible outcomes. It would be ideal if you have previous experience gained in a similar role. However whilst this is valuable, we are looking for individuals who display the right values and behaviours in order to make a difference to people's lives. You should be keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people we support. What you'll be doing You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents wellbeing. As a Support Worker, you will assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents. You will provide support with day to day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living.
