To identify staff learning and development needs and ensure high standard of professional practice are achieved through systemic individual and team development programmes, to ensure that all staff are appropriately trained to the required standards of competence.</li><li>To participate in and to ensure regular audits of record keeping across the teams is consistently of a high standard and that managerial decisions are taken and recorded promptly within the appropriate frameworks and embedded within practice and their teams.</li><li>To initiate, organise, attend and chair meetings as appropriate, including but not limited to single and inter-agency meetings and core work groups for particular children, monitor performance of agreed tasks for all participants.</li><li>To ensure that the views of our service users continuously contribute to improvements to the service.</li><li>Coordinates and directs staff in decision making process to achieve positive outcomes for children and their families within a single and multi-agency care planning framework.</li><li>To be accountable for the most effective use of allocated budgets, adhere to Best Value principles, control cost and enhance.</li><li>To undertake any other temporary responsibilities aligned with the overall purpose and grade of the role.</li></ul>
