What you will do:
- Complete initial assessments to understand the needs, risks, and circumstances of children and families.
- Manage cases requiring intervention and support through appropriate statutory processes.
- Undertake assessments under the single assessment framework to inform decision-making.
- Develop effective care plans and connect families with appropriate support services.
- Carry out risk assessments to safeguard children and promote their wellbeing.
- Prepare detailed reports for child protection conferences and court proceedings.
- Attend and contribute to case conferences, reviews, and legal meetings.
- Complete Section 17 reports and draft court statements when required.
- Apply for emergency care orders where necessary to protect children.
- Conduct home visits to monitor progress and ensure children’s safety.
- Chair meetings to review outcomes and plan future interventions.
