What you will do:

  • Lead and contribute to the Permanence Team, ensuring positive and stable outcomes for children and young people in care.

  • Undertake complex assessments and develop robust care plans that support permanency planning and long-term stability.

  • Manage a caseload of Children in Care and Children Looked After, ensuring all statutory responsibilities are met.

  • Implement strategies and interventions that promote the welfare, development, and best interests of children.

  • Work closely with foster carers, adopters, families, and partner agencies to support permanence outcomes.

  • Collaborate effectively with education, health, legal services, and other multidisciplinary professionals.

  • Provide expert guidance, mentoring, and professional support to colleagues within the team.

  • Prepare high-quality assessments, reports, and court documentation where required.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive case recordings

Salary range
