Detailed job description and main responsibilities Our Emergency Departments requires a finely tuned infrastructure to ensure patients receive the investigations they require at the earliest possible opportunity. Many of these technical roles are undertaken by our supporting workforce, including: ECG recording, IV cannulation and phlebotomy, Bladder scanning, Recording Vital Signs, National Early Warning Scores, neurological observations and to deliver fundamentals of care to all service users In addition key infrastructural functions such as: Completing checklists, Checking equipment and replacing vital stock, Supporting staff play a major role in the provision of expert care and quality initiatives within ED.
