What you will do:
Assessment & Intervention:

Conduct comprehensive Child and Family Assessments in line with statutory guidance.

Manage cases under Section 17 (Children in Need) and Section 47 (Child Protection) of the Children Act 1989.

Design, implement, and review care and protection plans.

Engage directly with children and families to promote safety and wellbeing.
Safeguarding & Child Protection:

Respond promptly and proportionately to safeguarding concerns.

Participate in strategy discussions and child protection conferences.

Manage complex risks and escalate safeguarding concerns appropriately.

Apply statutory thresholds confidently and consistently.
Court & Legal Work:

Contribute to Public Law Outline (PLO) processes.

Prepare high-quality court reports and attend hearings.
