Nursery Practitioner
£28,300 per year | Level 3 | Full Time | 40 Hours per Week

This is an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a Good Ofsted-rated nursery that has been purpose-built to create an exceptional early years learning environment. Every area of the nursery has been carefully designed natural materials and age-appropriate resources, providing children with a welcoming space where they feel safe, confident, and inspired to learn.
Outdoor learning is at the heart of the nursery's approach. Children benefit from a wonderful woodland area and an exciting outdoor environment featuring mud kitchens, a vegetable patch, and a wide range of natural resources.
Joining a friendly and supportive team, you'll help deliver engaging learning experiences that nurture each child's curiosity while supporting their individual development through play.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working within an early years setting.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
- A genuine passion for outdoor learning and child-centred education.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, enthusiastic, and reliable approach.

Nursery Practitioner Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
- Plan and provide engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence through child-led and adult-guided play.
- Make full use of the nursery's indoor and outdoor learning environments to enrich children's experiences.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress to support their individual learning journeys.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing.
