Main duties: <ul>
<li>To hold a caseload of foster carers and offer regular supervision and support, or to recruit and assess foster carers in line with service requirements (depending on the team being recruited to).</li><li>To meet the needs of the Council’s looked after children by ensuring that carers access the required training and development opportunities and have the skills to meet a wide range of needs.</li><li>To deliver regular Skills to Foster courses.</li><li>To follow all financial processes to minimise costs and ensure compliance with financial regulations.</li><li>To maintain electronic case file records in line with the Council’s recording policy and statutory requirements.</li><li>To participate in service development projects and initiative.</li><li>To participate in the service duty rota as required.</li><li>Any other duties reasonably requested by management.</li><li>Carry out all accountabilities in compliance with the Council’s Policies and Procedures.</li></ul>

The salary for this permanent Team Manager job is up to £61,653per annum. Main duties:<ul>
<li>Contribute to the development and dissemination of operational instructions and provide practice guidance, making use of legislation, national guidelines and research to ensure that the highest standards are achieved and maintained.</li><li>Support all members of the team by ensuring regular supervision, appraisal and communication on an individual on an individual and team basis to ensure an informed and professional approach to service delivery and an awareness of the changing national and local demands and priorities by the implementation of appropriate performance review mechanisms.</li><li>Promote evidence-based practice in the team and to manage, monitor and ensure the effective delivery of the service.</li><li>To conduct annual appraisals of all staff supervised and to identify individual and team staff development needs.</li><li>To chair and attend complex strategy meetings and support staff to prepare for multi-agency meetings and evidence giving at court.</li><li>To allocate and provide detailed management oversight on new or transferred referrals.
