- Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity and encourages participation.
- Assist with daily routines such as mealtimes and transitions to ensure a safe and secure atmosphere.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills in supporting children with special educational needs.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and caregivers to maintain open communication regarding their child's progress.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience working with young children, especially those with special educational needs, is preferred.
- A creative, patient, and caring approach to early childhood education is essential.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities are crucial.
- A current and clear Enhanced DBS check is required.
