About the Service
Cardiff Family Advice and Support is an innovative service within Cardiff Council's Children's Services and is proud to hold a Families First Quality Award. The service provides information, advice, and assistance to children, young people, and families, ensuring they receive the support they need through a strengths-based and collaborative approach. Working closely with partner organisations, the team focuses on early intervention and effective support to improve outcomes for families.
What you will do
• Wellbeing Assessments: Assess the wellbeing needs of families, particularly those caring for children and young people with disabilities or additional needs.
• Short-Term Interventions: Deliver practical and focused interventions to support families in overcoming challenges.
• Advice and Guidance: Provide specialist disability-related information, advice, and signposting to relevant services and support networks.
