What you will do:

  • Manage a complex caseload involving children and young people with disabilities and their families.

  • Undertake Child and Family Assessments, specialist assessments, and parenting assessments to inform effective planning and intervention.

  • Complete statutory visits, reviews, and assessments within required timescales and legislative frameworks.

  • Develop, implement, monitor, and review Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children Looked After plans.

  • Prepare and present high-quality reports for conferences, court proceedings, reviews, and other statutory forums.

  • Ensure the voice of the child remains central to all assessments, planning, and interventions.

  • Promote permanence planning and support positive long-term outcomes for children and young people.

  • Lead safeguarding interventions and manage complex child protection concerns.
