What you will do:
- Take on operational and financial responsibility for designated elements of the service, providing leadership and management support to the staff.
- Ensure children's needs are assessed holistically and in a timely manner, providing appropriate services to meet those needs.
- Lead a team of Social Workers in an intervention team involving Child Protection, Children in Need, and Court Work.
- Manage a professional, child-centred service, ensuring adherence to regulations and legislation.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver services in a family setting aligned with children's best interests.
- Tackle complex issues creatively, ensuring service delivery within budgets.
- Develop specialist knowledge and act as a resource in your field.
- Work closely with senior management in operational and strategic developments, contributing to the overall service management.
- Handle case responsibilities from assessment to closure, ensuring awareness of developments in each case.
