What You Will Do

  • Provide strong leadership and oversight to the Assessment Team, ensuring high-quality, timely assessments for children and families.

  • Oversee day-to-day service delivery, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice standards.

  • Deliver reflective supervision, supporting staff development, resilience, and consistent professional practice.

  • Manage complex safeguarding decisions and ensure robust safety planning and case management.

  • Work collaboratively with key multi-agency partners including Education, Health, and Police.

  • Drive performance and service improvement, ensuring targets and statutory duties are consistently met.

  • Support workforce development through mentoring, coaching, and training.

  • Maintain accurate, compliant record-keeping aligned with organisational and legal frameworks.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Extensive post-qualifying experience within Children's Social Care, particularly safeguarding and assessment.

  • Demonstrable leadership or management experience within a social wo
