What You Will Do:

• Carry out Core Assessments, pre-birth assessments, and risk assessments
• Lead Section 47 Child Protection investigations
• Prepare statements and complete Section 7 and 37 court reports
• Represent the local authority in court proceedings
• Conduct home visits to ensure safeguarding and wellbeing
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
• Chair core group meetings and coordinate multi-agency input
• Work closely with professionals including police for joint investigations
• Initiate and manage care proceedings from start to completion
• Implement and review Care Plans effectively
• Supervise contact sessions and contribute to case conferences
• Develop and complete Child in Need plans
