Shear Meadow is a community residential home providing outcome focused care for adults with learning disabilities, who may have behaviors that challenge and associated complex needs.

We are looking for a Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

As a support worker you will encourage and enable the people we support to lead a full and happy life. We work with them to ensure they have more choice and control in their lives. We find out their strengths, abilities and preferences so that the care provided can be as person-centred and meaningful to each individual as possible.

You will work 42 hours a week, covering 12 hour shifts 8am - 8pm on a rota basis and must have a have a full UK driving licence.

Your day-to-day...
  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
  • Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
  • Learn about individuals' specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way

  • Report on medical & welfare needs as required
