What you will do:

  • Team Leadership: Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Leaving Care Team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and positive outcomes for young people.

  • Supervision and Management: Manage, supervise, and support Social Workers, Personal Advisors, and other team members to maintain excellent practice standards.

  • Pathway Planning: Oversee assessments, pathway planning, and review processes, promoting independence and successful transitions into adulthood.

  • Statutory Responsibilities: Ensure statutory duties towards care leavers are fulfilled in line with relevant legislation, guidance, and local procedures.
