What you will do:

  • Lead and manage the Children in Care Team, providing strong operational and practice leadership

  • Deliver effective supervision, guidance, and support to social work staff to maintain high-quality service delivery

  • Drive performance and practice standards to improve outcomes for children and young people in care

  • Develop and implement improvement plans and service strategies aligned with statutory responsibilities

  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with internal departments and external agencies

  • Monitor team performance data and quality assurance activity, adjusting approaches where needed
