What you will do
• Assessment and Intervention: Undertake meaningful assessments and interventions with children and families, tailoring support to individual circumstances.
• Kinship Care Assessments: Complete viability assessments and full assessments for prospective Kinship Carers.
• Court and Panel Work: Prepare detailed reports and present findings to Fostering Panels and the Court where required.
• Case Management: Manage complex cases while ensuring compliance with statutory guidance and best practice.
• Duty Responsibilities: Participate in the duty rota, responding to emergency viability assessments and Regulation 24 assessments.
• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, carers, and families to promote stability and positive outcomes.
• Multi-Agency Working: Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to safeguard and support children.
• Care Planning: Contribute to effective care planning and permanency arrangements that meet the needs of children and young people.
• Professional Leadership: Support good practice within the tea
