Job Purpose:

The Social Worker - Safeguarding Team will play a key role in safeguarding children at risk of harm. You'll be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing interventions to protect children, while ensuring that their voices are heard and their best interests are prioritized. This role requires collaboration with multi-agency partners and a commitment to providing the best outcomes for children and families.

What You Will Do:

Child Protection and Safeguarding:

  • Assess risk and investigate concerns related to child protection, including neglect and abuse.

  • Undertake child protection investigations and assessments in adherence to statutory requirements.

  • Develop thorough child protection plans tailored to the needs of each child.

Case Management:

  • Manage a complex caseload of child protection and safeguarding cases.

Salary range

  • £39 per hour
