Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Social Worker to join the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) - Adults Team in Wolverhampton.

In this role, you will support the team by undertaking Section 42 safeguarding enquiries and working collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard vulnerable adults. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner looking to contribute to a dynamic safeguarding environment within a well-established council service.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake Section 42 safeguarding enquiries in accordance with the Care Act 2014.

• Complete safeguarding assessments, interventions, and risk management plans.

• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure positive outcomes for vulnerable adults.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports.

• Contribute to team discussions and safeguarding decision-making.

• Provide professional guidance and insight as part of the MASH safeguarding team.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification (Degree / DipSW / CQSW).

• Registered with Social Work England.

• Experience working within Adult Safeguarding or MASH teams.

• Strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities under the Care Act 2014.
