What you will do:

  • Safeguarding and Assessment: Receive, screen, and assess referrals relating to children, young people, and families, ensuring timely responses to concerns.

  • Risk Analysis: Gather, analyse, and evaluate information to identify risk, determine thresholds, and recommend appropriate interventions.

  • Multi-Agency Working: Collaborate with Greater Manchester Police, Health Services, Education Providers, and other safeguarding partners to support informed decision-making.

  • MASH Decision-Making: Participate in multi-agency discussions to ensure children receive the right level of support and protection.

  • Case Management: Manage a workload of referrals, prioritising cases according to urgency and risk.

  • Early Intervention: Identify opportunities for early help and preventative support to reduce escalation

Salary range
