What You Will Do:

  • Serve as the lead professional in statutory cases, including child protection, care proceedings, and managing looked-after children

  • Conduct comprehensive social work tasks with children in need and their families, ensuring their safety and well-being

  • Collaborate with allied health and social care practitioners to deliver a multi-disciplinary approach to safeguarding

  • Take a proactive role in the Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Review (APIR) process

  • Manage caseloads involving multi-agency child protection plans, care proceedings, and complex needs

Requirements:

  • Relevant social work qualification

  • Social Work England membership

  • Completion of ASYE Year

  • Experience working across voluntary and statutory agencies

  • Strong communication skills

  • Confident knowledge of APIR processes and relevant legislation
