What You Will Do

  • Assess Kinship Foster Carers and Special Guardians on behalf of the Directorate.

  • Undertake viability assessments for proposed Kinship carers and Special Guardians.

  • Participate in a duty rota for Regulation 24 assessments.

  • Complete complex assessment reports for fostering panels and court proceedings.

  • Ensure high-quality care planning that meets the specific needs of children.

  • Attend LAC Reviews, Permanency Planning meetings, court hearings, and safeguarding meetings as required.
