What you will do:

- Assess the needs of children and their extended families considering kinship placements
- Provide advice, guidance, and support to families undertaking the kinship carer role
- Work in partnership with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children
- Conduct home visits and liaise with other agencies as necessary
- Prepare detailed reports for court proceedings and meetings
- Facilitate and participate in support groups for kinship carers
- Keep comprehensive, up-to-date case notes and ensure confidentiality at all times
