Job Purpose:

The Social Worker - Duty and Assessment Team plays a critical role in the safeguarding and welfare of children. You will assess referrals, evaluate the level of risk, collaborate with multi-agency teams, and implement care plans to ensure positive outcomes for children and families.

What You Will Do:

Referral and Assessment:

  • Respond promptly to new referrals and gather relevant information to assess the level of need and urgency for intervention.

  • Conduct initial assessments to determine levels of risk and need for children.

  • Make decisions regarding the safety and welfare of children, ensuring all concerns are addressed quickly.

Safeguarding and Risk Management:
