What you will do:

Manage a caseload of children involved in care proceedings.

Prepare and present high-quality court reports, statements, and evidence.

Undertake parenting and risk assessments.

Work closely with legal services to progress cases through court.

Attend court hearings and legal planning meetings.

Develop and progress care and permanence plans for children.
Qualifications:

Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.

Registered with Social Work England.

Enhanced DBS and Right to Work in the UK.
Key Skills:

Strong knowledge of care proceedings and court processes.

Excellent assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills.

Ability to present evidence confidently in court.

Strong safeguarding and risk management abilities.

Ability to manage complex and high-risk cases.

Effective communication and multi-agency working skills.
Experience:

Significant post-qualification experience in Children’s Social Care.

Experience within a Court Team or legal planning environment.

Experience managing care proceedings cases.

Experience in multi-agency partnership working.
