Exciting Opportunity for a Social Worker within the Connected Carers Team in Durham, earning £32.73 hourly on an ongoing basis. This full-time position requires you to work 37 hours per week, based in Seaham, Durham, with office attendance needed for at least 2-3 days per week. As a part of the Connected Carers Team, you will specialise in completing viability and Reg 24 assessments across County Durham, without the responsibility of holding cases. Reporting directly to the Team Manager, this vital role supports meeting the rising demand in services.

What you will do:

- Conduct viability and Reg 24 assessments to support carers and children across County Durham efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to share knowledge and resources within the Connected Carers Team.
- Maintain regular communication with the Team Manager to ensure timely and accurate assessment submissions.
- Ensure all assessments comply with statutory requirements and are completed to a high standard.
