What you will do:

• Manage a caseload of children and families requiring statutory social work support

• Undertake child and family assessments in line with statutory guidelines

• Develop and review Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) plans

• Identify and manage risks to ensure children are safeguarded from harm

• Participate in child protection conferences, core groups, and multi-agency meetings

Person specification:

Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent in Social Work

Registration & Compliance:

• Registration with Social Work England

Key Skills:

• Strong safeguarding and risk assessment skills

• Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment

• Strong communication and case management skills

Experience:

• Post-qualification experience in children's social care

• Experience in cases involving CIN, Child Protection, or safeguarding

• Experience managing complex caseloads and contributing to multi-agency partnerships
