What you will do:

Manage a caseload of children and families requiring statutory social work support

Undertake child and family assessments in line with statutory guidelines
-
Develop and review Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) plans

Identify and manage risks to ensure children are safeguarded from harm
-
Participate in child protection conferences, core groups, and multi-agency meetings
Person specification:
Qualifications:

Degree or equivalent in Social Work
Registration & Compliance:
-
Registration with Social Work England
Key Skills:
-
Strong safeguarding and risk assessment skills
-
Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment

Strong communication and case management skills
Experience:

Post-qualification experience in children's social care
-
Experience in cases involving CIN, Child Protection, or safeguarding

Experience managing complex caseloads and contributing to multi-agency partnerships
