What You Will Do

  • Complete statutory assessments under the Children Act 1989/2004 (including S17, S47, and risk assessments).

  • Create, implement, and review child-focused plans to promote safety and improved outcomes.

  • Manage a caseload involving child protection, pre-proceedings, and court work.

  • Deliver direct work to children and families using trauma-informed, strengths-based practice.

  • Respond swiftly to safeguarding concerns and contribute to multi-agency meetings.

  • Work closely with education, health, police, and other partners to support families effectively.

  • Maintain accurate case records and prepare high-quality reports for courts and conferences.

  • Engage in reflective supervision, team meetings, and service improvement activities.
