What you will do
- Arrange well-deserved respite breaks for families and children.
- Conduct home statutory visits to ensure the welfare and safety of children remain paramount.
- Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify needs.
- Design, arrange, and review comprehensive care plans tailored to unique family circumstances.
- Liaise closely with other professionals, such as occupational therapists, to ensure well-rounded support.
- Organise direct payments and carry out detailed risk assessments.
- Attend reviews for looked after children and support families through parenting assessments.
- Plan and participate in core group meetings and manage Section 47 enquiries.
- Lead educational needs assessments to foster growth and learning opportunities for children.
