Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop detailed care plans for children and young people in care

• Deliver targeted interventions to improve safety, wellbeing and developmental outcomes

• Manage a caseload of looked after children in line with statutory duties and timescales

• Work collaboratively with education, health and other partner agencies

• Attend and contribute to care planning meetings, statutory reviews and case conferences

• Provide practical and emotional support to foster carers and connected persons

• Maintain accurate, timely and compliant case recordings and reports
