Social Worker - Children and Families Team in Stroud, UK earning £42 per hour. We have an engaging locum opportunity for three months for an experienced full-time Social Worker to join our Children and Families Team in Stroud. In this vital role, you will manage a caseload of children and deliver timely and effective evidence-based interventions, accommodating the varied needs of children in need (CIN), child protection (CP), children in care (CIC), and dealing with some court-related work. With a caseload of approximately 18, you will have the chance to make a significant impact on families within the community. Expect to spend three days a week in our vibrant office, equipped with a laptop and smartphone to facilitate your efficiency.

What you will do:

• Manage a diverse caseload of approximately 18 children requiring different levels of support including those in need, under child protection plans, or in care.
• Conduct face-to-face visits with all children, ensuring thorough assessments and regular updates on their progress.
• Liaise with families, caregivers, and external agencies to coordinate and deliver targeted support and intervention.
• Prepare detailed reports and case notes for submissions to courts and involvement in legal proceedings as required.
• Work as part of a dynamic team and contribute towards developing innovative strategies for the betterment of our children and families' services.
