What You Will Do:

• Conduct Core Assessments, pre-birth assessments, and risk evaluations
• Lead Section 47 Child Protection investigations
• Prepare court reports (Section 7 and Section 37) and statements
• Represent the local authority in court proceedings
• Carry out home visits to ensure child safety and wellbeing
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
• Organise and lead core group meetings
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals, including police
• Initiate and manage care proceedings and review Care Plans
• Supervise contact arrangements and attend case conferences
• Develop and implement Child in Need plans
